EBI: You had linked the homework to the theory. How is the theory shown in the task? How is it related? You also need to fully explain certain parts of your write up as at the moment it is in note form. What has ‘beauty pageant’ got to do with criticism of theory? Why do you think men and women are represented differently when looking at their facial expressions?
beauty pageants are relevant because they focus on making female's the centre of attention therefore creating the male gaze, men enjoy watching woman flaunt their assets and thats all they are focused on. facial expressions shown in films for example are used because when a woman appears they appear pouting making them mpre attractive to the males eye whereas male actors become more aggressive shown in their facial expressions making them more manly and less out there to look pretty and attractive.
